However, as the various sources of taxation income begin to dry up, Non-Domestic Business Rates is proving to be one of the most dependable of Central Government’s taxes; unlike Corporation Tax, Stamp Duty and Capital and Gains Tax.

1)If you occupy one property with an assessment under £15,000 RV please make sure you have applied for Small Business Rate Relief.

2)If you have an empty property, are you clear on how to manage your empty rate relief? If in doubt, call us for advice.

3)If you received Transitional Relief last year, make sure you apply for the rate deferral scheme this summer.

4)Above all, copy all your rating correspondence to us so we can keep your case file up to date and make sure you are not missing out on potential allowances and exemptions.
